After graduating from the School of Literature at Waseda University, Fujiwara joined Recruit (currently Recruit Holdings Co., Ltd.). While at Recruit, she was responsible for marketing in the area of human resources, working with companies of all sizes from start-ups to large corporations. She supported the implementation of corporate management strategies, particularly in the area of human resources, especially recruitment.
Since then, Fujiwara has expanded the scope of her career, working on a broad range of issues, including product planning and coordination between partner agencies. Later, she worked on business development and managed the marketing department, which dealt with 30 prefectures or regions across Japan. She devised and implemented business strategies and worked on the transformation of the organization. In the meantime, she took two maternity leaves. Through her experience, she has learned that if she trusts people and stands with them, they can get the most out of their strengths. To provide such support, she joined ChangeWAVE, Inc.
Fujiwara works pro bono on “Work Smarter!,” a project providing support for working mothers.
