After graduating from college, Osumi joined Recruit (currently Recruit Holdings Co. Ltd.), leading the sales force for over 17 years. In 2006, she joined Lawson, Inc. In 2009, she became the Director of the Franchise Owner Development Department, Development Management Headquarters. In 2012, she was promoted to Deputy Director Vice President. She was in charge of diversity promotion in the Human Resources Office, encouraging women’s success in the workplace. She then became the Senior Executive Manager of the Health Food Business Department, Research and Development Headquarters, Nagatanien Co. Ltd.
In the same year, she joined ChangeWAVE, Inc. and became an advisor.In February 2020, she became a director.
